Vladislav Lavrik 

Vladislav Lavrik, a distinguished trumpeter, educator, and conductor, hails from Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine, where he was immersed in a musical family. Lavrik’s musical journey began with piano and trumpet studies, culminating in a Master’s Degree from the Moscow State Conservatory.

As Professor of Trumpet at the Moscow State Conservatory from 2008 to 2022, Lavrik garnered accolades, including the Russian Presidential Prize for Young Artists in 2016 and the title of Merited Artist of the Russian Federation in 2021.

Over two decades, Lavrik has shared his expertise through masterclasses across continents, spanning Europe, Asia, the Americas, and beyond.

His illustrious recordings include collaborations with the Russian National Orchestra (RNO) and a recent solo album featuring major trumpet concertos, showcasing his versatility as both conductor and soloist.

Lavrik’s career boasts remarkable achievements in both classical and jazz realms. Notably, his tenure as principal trumpet with the RNO led to his acclaimed USA debut as a soloist at Seattle’s Paramount Theater. He later assumed the podium with the RNO, conducting performances and making his US conducting debut in 2013.

Beyond his musical endeavors, Lavrik is dedicated to music projects for children, including music therapy programs and collaborations on children’s musicals. Currently residing in Berlin, he continues to leave a profound impact on the global music community.
