ANTA JANKOVSKA
Anta Jankowska began her artistic journey as a ballet dancer, joining the Latvian National Opera Theatre in 1999 while still a student at the Riga Choreography School. She later transitioned to vocal arts, graduating cum laude from the Conservatorio Arrigo Boito of Parma, where she studied under Prof. Lucetta Bizzi and Prof. Carmen Santoro. Jankowska also attended the Mirella Freni Universal Centre of Belcanto Academy and several prestigious Italian opera academies, including Accademia del Belcanto Rodolfo Celletti, Puccini Festival Opera Academy, and LTL Opera Studio.
Her stage debut came in 2014 as fairy Farzana in Alfredo Casella’s La donna serpente at the 40th Festival della Valle d’Itria, conducted by Fabio Luisi and directed by Arturo Cirillo. Currently, Jankowska is a principal guest artist at the Latvian Operetta Theatre (Operetes Teātris), where she continues to captivate audiences with her performances.
