Description
Evgenia Zhazhelo is a Russian-born composer, singer, and producer, internationally recognized as one of Russia’s leading sound engineers. Trained at the Academic Music College and the Moscow State Conservatory named after P. I. Tchaikovsky, she is rooted in the Russian compositional and piano traditions of Prokofiev, Shostakovich, and Rachmaninov.
With over two decades of experience, she has served as executive sound engineer on major television productions, large-scale concerts, and international collaborations with artists including Craig David, Garbage, Thirty Seconds to Mars, and Tokio Hotel. A two-time recipient of the Russian National TEFI Award, she was Chief Sound Engineer for Dances on TNT.
Alongside her engineering career, Zhazhelo composes and produces her own music, blending symphonic writing with electronic textures in a crossover style. Her debut EP Night Thought (2024) reached audiences in over 40 countries. Ballads Part 1 is her first release with the U.S.-based classical label Prima Classic.
