Fabrizio Cassi

Description

Fabrizio Cassi graduated from the Conservatorio “Giuseppe Nicolini” in Piacenza in 1991, earning diplomas in Organ and Piano. In 2002, he completed his studies in Conducting at the Accademia Filarmonica di Bologna.

From 1991 to 2003, he served as Organizational Secretary of the International Verdi Voices Competition, while from 1991 to 2002 he held the position of Artistic Consultant for the Municipality of Busseto. Between 1996 and 2006, he worked at the Arturo Toscanini Foundation in Parma as a répétiteur for the Academy of Advanced Training for Opera Singers, taking part in numerous concerts and collaborating with distinguished conductors such as Isaac Karabtchevsky, Marco Gandolfi, Donato Renzetti, Mikhail Jurowski, and Bruno Bartoletti.

As a vocal coach and rehearsal pianist, Fabrizio Cassi has worked with many leading national and international artists, including Carlo Bergonzi, Katia Ricciarelli, Nicola Martinucci, Leo Nucci, Michele Pertusi, and Daniela Dessì.

He has also enjoyed an extensive career as a Chorus Master, working with ensembles such as the Coro Lirico Lombardo, the Corale Rossini di Modena, and the Corale Verdi di Parma. In January 2024, he was appointed Chorus Master of the Teatro di San Carlo in Naples.
