Laura is also a recognized Córdoba Guitars Artist and a Guitar Salon International fellow.

Recently, she was honored in the latest edition of Marquis Who’s Who in America, recognized as one of the most influential musicians and musical leaders of her generation. This accolade highlights her significant contributions to the classical guitar repertoire and her innovative approach to the instrument. Inspired by Maestro Leo Brouwer, Laura began her musical journey at age ten by joining a children’s guitar orchestra, performing at the renowned Havana Festival under Brouwer’s direction. She has been praised as “a consummate guitarist of Hispanic-Latin heritage” (Digital Journal), “an excellent performer from whom great things can be expected” (Albert Kunze, Soundboard Magazine), and “evocative and passionate” (Federico Musgrove, Executive Director of the Florida Guitar Foundation).
