Liene Andreta Kalnciema is recognized as one of the most outstanding Latvian organists of her generation, acclaimed both at home and internationally. She has received top prizes at major international competitions and has built an active concert career across Europe and beyond.
Her performances have taken her to Estonia, Lithuania, Germany, Finland, the Netherlands, Canada, the Czech Republic, Belarus, Belgium, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Spain, the USA, and Latvia, where she plays both historic and modern instruments. She is a frequent guest at international festivals, masterclasses, and collaborations with choirs, ensembles, and soloists.
From 2006 to 2023, Liene served as the organist of Riga Evangelical Lutheran Martin’s Church. She is also a permanent performer at organ music concerts in Riga Cathedral, continuing to enrich Latvia’s cultural life with her artistry and dedication.
