
Marina Yakovleva
Description
Marina Yakovleva is an internationally acclaimed violinist from Saint Petersburg. Trained by renowned teachers including Tibor Varga and Pierre Amoyal, she performs worldwide as a soloist and chamber musician and is a permanent member of the Zurich Opera Orchestra.
In 2019, she founded the chamber ensemble Amani, and also performs with the family ensemble Three Generations, which unites her artistic collaborations with her children, brother, and parents. Marina is passionate about historical performance and has been a member of the baroque orchestra La Scintilla since 2020.
In addition to her concert work, Marina is a dedicated teacher at IMUKA – First International Music and Art Academy in Switzerland. She lives in Zurich with her four children, where family and music are inseparably intertwined.
