Mattia Olivieri graduated from the G.B. Martini Conservatory in Bologna. In 2009, he began his collaboration with leading international musical institutions, including the Semperoper in Dresden, followed by Teatro alla Scala, where he made his debut as Schaunard in Franco Zeffirelli’s historic production of La bohème. At La Scala, he also appeared as Belcore in L’elisir d’amore and as Malatesta in a new production of Don Pasquale.
In Italy, Mattia Olivieri has performed at major venues such as Teatro La Fenice in Venice, the Arena di Verona, the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Teatro Massimo in Palermo, and the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma. His international engagements include appearances in Berlin, Paris, Munich, Vienna, and London, as well as his debut at the Metropolitan Opera in New York in Florencia en el Amazonas.
Throughout his career, he has worked with some of the world’s most distinguished conductors, including Antonio Pappano, Riccardo Chailly, Gustavo Dudamel, Fabio Luisi, and Zubin Mehta.
