Suren Babayan

Description

Born in 2002, Suren Babayan began studying piano in 2013 at the Sayat-Nova Music School and later continued his musical education at the Alexander Adjemian Music School. In 2020, he was admitted to the Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan, where he completed a bachelor’s degree and is currently pursuing a master’s degree. 

As an emerging Armenian pianist, Suren has actively participated in numerous events organized by the Conservatory, including concerts dedicated to the Days of Francophonie in Armenia, the Conservatory’s centennial celebrations, and the annual piano department concerts. 

In 2023, he performed in the jubilee concerts dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Aram Khachaturian.  

Throughout his musical journey, Suren has received awards in several national and international competitions and has taken part in masterclasses led by renowned musicians such as Polina Osetinskaya, Yuri Bogdanov, Pascal Godart, and Anna Sarkisova.
