Jurģis Cābulis 

A conductor with a passion for music that spans over two decades. His musical journey began in 1999 at the Riga Dome Choir School, where he cultivated his talent and love for conducting.

From 2001 to 2012, Jurģis showcased his skills on various stages worldwide alongside the Riga Dom Cathedral Boys Choir, enchanting audiences with his performances.

In 2012, he embarked on a new chapter of learning at the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, where he delved into the art of choir conducting under the guidance of Andris Veismanis.

During his time with the esteemed Swedbank Koris from 2011 to 2013, Jurģis contributed to the choir’s success, culminating in a gold medal at the 1st European Choir Games in Graz, Austria, in 2013.

In 2010, Jurģis founded the Carnikava chamber choir Vēja balss, where he currently serves as conductor. His dedication to his craft was further demonstrated when he participated in the VII International Choir Conductors Competition in Saint Petersburg in April 2012.

Since November 2013, Jurģis has been making waves in the professional music scene as a conductor with the renowned Riga Chamber Choir Ave Sol. With his unwavering commitment and musical expertise, Jurģis continues to inspire audiences and fellow musicians alike on his musical journey.
