LUCIANO GANCI

Luciano Ganci, a distinguished tenor, began his career in 2009 with debuts in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro and Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi, followed by his role as Alfredo in Verdi’s La traviata in 2010. He quickly rose to prominence with notable performances in Puccini’s La Bohème and Madama Butterfly, Verdi’s I Lombardi alla Prima Crociata, and Cavalleria rusticana. Ganci’s international acclaim grew with his debut in La traviata in Salzburg in 2012, soon followed by performances in L’amico Fritz, Christus am Ölberge by Beethoven, Mozart’s Requiem, and Il trovatore. He also recorded an album of Mascagni’s music for Chandos, leading to further prominent roles in Il corsaro, Attila, and Verdi’s Requiem in 2013.

Continuing his illustrious journey, Ganci took on roles such as Mario Cavaradossi in Tosca, Macduff in Macbeth, and Rodolfo in Verdi’s Luisa Miller. His repertoire expanded with performances as Amenofi in Rossini’s Mosé, Pollione in Norma, and Gustavo III in Un ballo in maschera. Notable debuts included Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor, Don Alvaro in Verdi’s La forza del destino, Radamès in Aida, and Maurizio di Sassonia in Adriana Lecouvreur. In 2021, he made his debut as Oberto in Catalani’s Edmea and performed at the Wiener Staatsoper. In 2022, Ganci debuted as Aroldo in Verdi’s Aroldo and Roberto in Le Villi. His concert tours have taken him across Italy and to various international venues, showcasing his remarkable talent worldwide
