Ilumina features Vietnamese classical guitarist An Tran performing a series of world-premiere recordings of works written specifically for him.

Each piece grew out of a personal connection with its composer, and together they form a musical journey that unfolds from intimate themes of family and memory towards moments of reflection and increasingly wider emotional landscapes. Titled Ilumina (“to shine a light”), the recording highlights new music, new voices, and the shared language that connects us across cultures, while exploring the expressive range of the classical guitar.
