Chopin and His Echo features Spanish pianist Martín García García performing works by Frédéric Chopin and Federico Mompou, exploring the poetic resonance between the two composers across time.

The programme opens with Chopin’s Four Impromptus and continues with Mompou’s Variations sur un thème de Chopin, an intimate set of reflections that reimagines a Chopin theme through delicate miniatures. It concludes with Mompou’s Scènes d’enfants, thereby tracing a musical jpurney from Chopin’s original voice to its twentieth-century echo.
