Patriks Kārlis Stepe 

Born in 1998, Patriks discovered his passion for music at the esteemed Riga Dome Choir School. Under the mentorship of Mārtiņš Klišāns, he honed his skills in choral conducting, while also refining his vocal talents with Valda Tračuma.

Continuing his musical journey, Patriks is currently pursuing further education in choral conducting at the prestigious Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, guided by the esteemed Andris Veismanis.

Patriks’s talent and dedication have not gone unnoticed. He is a prizewinner of the esteemed Imants Kokars International Conducting Contest, showcasing his exceptional abilities.

In addition to his academic pursuits, Patriks serves as the artistic director of the Old St. Gertrude’s church mixed choir since 2017, where he brings his unique vision and passion to the ensemble.

Patriks’s involvement in choral projects extends beyond Latvia’s borders. He has actively participated in the esteemed choral projects of the European Choir Academy, further enriching his musical experience.

From 2013 to 2018, Patriks served as the second conductor of the esteemed choir DeCoro, before assuming the role of second conductor of Kamēr… in September 2018. With each opportunity, Patriks continues to make his mark on the choral world with his exceptional talent and unwavering dedication.
